We are pleased to announce the opening of the call for applications for the Winter School in Buddhist Textual Scholarship, jointly organised by scholars from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes-PSL (Paris), the Ecole française d'Extrême-Orient (EFEO) in Chiang Mai, and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, to be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from 24 February to 1 March 2025.
Students from Sri Lankan universities interested in participating are invited to complete the online application form by 25 November 2024. The scientific selection will be made by the organisers by 15 December.
The Embassy of France in Sri Lanka and the Embassy of France in the Maldives will be pleased to provide scholarships for short scientific stays to the Sri Lankan students selected to participate in the event.
