AKO Scholarship Program
Dear Students,
The AKO Scholarship nominations are now open. We are required to fill six (06) scholarship positions with students from the 2024 and 2025 academic batches (1st and 2nd year).
Interested students are invited to submit a personal request letter including basic information, academic performance, financial difficulties, and any relevant details such as parents’ or family members’ health conditions and other expenses.
Please note that this opportunity is open to students who:
• Are not recipients of the Mahapola Scholarship
• Have not received any other scholarship assistance
• Have not been allocated hostel facilities
Your application letter should include the following details:
• Personal Information: Name, Address, MF Number, Contact Number, and Email
• Academic Performance:
o 2025 batch: G.C.E. A/L Z-score and island ranking
o 2024 batch: First-year results and GPA
Please address your application to the Deputy Senior Student Counsellor of the Faculty and submit it on or before 29 April 2026.
